Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 2 cups chocolate chips

Directions

    1. Step 1Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper and set aside.
    2. Step 2Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl and set aside.
    3. Step 3Beat the butter and sugars together, using an electric mixer in a large bowl, until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time and the vanilla. Slowly beat in the flour mixture, add the chocolate chips and macadamia nuts, and stir to combine.
    4. Step 4Shape into balls (2 tablespoons each) and place 2 inches apart on the prepared baking sheet. Gently flatten each ball and bake until golden -- about 15 minutes.
    5. Step 5Cool on a wire rack. Store in an airtight container for 1 week.
