This simple cranberry sauce is fresh take on the usual Thanksgiving condiment.

Ingredients
- 1 (12-ounce) package fresh cranberries
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 navel orange (with skin), cut into 1/2-inch pieces
- 1/2 cup dried cherries
- 1/4 tsp. salt
Directions
- Step 1In a medium, heavy-bottomed saucepan over medium-low heat, combine all ingredients, stirring frequently, until sauce is thick, about 10 minutes. Let cool to room temperature before serving, or refrigerate for up to 2 weeks.
