These fresh sandwiches are full of crunchy, peppery radishes. Slathering sweet, salted butter on the bread gives them a decidedly French twist.

Ingredients
- 1 French baguette, halved lengthwise and cut into thirds
- 6 Tbsp. salted butter, softened
- 16 radishes (preferably French breakfast) with some greens remaining, thinly sliced with a mandoline or sharp knife
- Sea Salt and freshly ground pepper
Directions
- Step 1Preheat oven to 400°F. Toast bread slices, cut side down, on a baking pan until lightly crisp, about 8 minutes. Transfer pan to a wire rack and cool for about 1 minute. Spread 1 tablespoon butter onto each slice. Top with a single layer of radishes. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
