The classic song about a tragic miner's daughter, named Clementine, has been entertaining listeners since the late 1800s, but this drink is, thankfully, a lot fresher.

Though it takes a little work to make, fresh clementine juice is slightly sweeter and much more fragrant than store-bought orange juice. It's well worth the small effort. (A basic citrus squeezer will do the job quickly.)

Serve this up when fresh clementines are in season, and sip slowly. You'll soon find yourself singing along to its beguiling song.
