CMA Fest week is officially underway. On Monday, June 1, Folds of Honor Tennessee unofficially kicked off the festivities with its sixth annual Rock ’N Jock Celebrity Softball Game. While the festival itself runs from Thursday, June 4, through Sunday, June 7, this beloved athletic charity event has become a tradition in its own right—and this year's game cemented itself as the most memorable yet.
Sponsored by Black Rifle Coffee Company, the 2026 Rock ’N Jock Celebrity Softball Game featured a friendly face-off between Team Military, captained by Riley Green, and Team First Responders, led by Zach Top. Team Military’s Gavin Adcock and Eric Decker, and Team First Responders’ Golden Tate and Jay Cutler all scored home runs. It wasn’t until comedian Danae Hays scored the winning run, however, that Team Military secured the game, with a final score of 9-8.
Beyond the actual athleticism showcased during the game, there were many hilarious, head-turning moments on the field, from Zach’s beer helmet and sideline cigarette habits to Riley hitting him with his pitch and Gavin using the winning trophy as a giant beer chalice.
As fun as it was to witness country artists (Jordan Davis, HARDY, Cooper Alan, Parker McCollum, and Warren Zeiders among them), athletes (including Roger Clemens, JC Latham, and Travis Pastrana), first responders, and veterans battle it out on the field, the real highlight of the charity event was just how much money was raised in the process. More than 9,000 fans showed out to Nashville’s First Horizon Park, and between ticket sales, direct donations, sponsorships, and team fundraising campaigns, the event raked in a record-breaking $701,460—including a generous $50,000 donation from Riley himself. All proceeds will go to the Folds of Honor mission of providing educational scholarships for the spouses and children of America’s fallen or disabled military service members and first responders.
No matter who you were rooting for, one thing’s for sure: This year’s Rock ’N Jock Celebrity Softball Game showed unity like never before, truly exemplifying the Folds of Honor motto: "Honor Their Sacrifice. Educate Their Legacy. Unite Americans Around All Those Who Serve."
