Ella Langley and Cody Johnson are two of the most commanding voices of country music in 2026, and this past weekend, Braves Country Fest attendees got to hear their signature sounds in a duet that’s now captivated thousands of fans across the world.
On Saturday, June 13, the ACM Award-winning phenoms—who took home nine combined wins at this year’s ceremony—ERNEST, and Mackenzie Carpenter descended upon Atlanta to wow the crowds at the Atlanta Braves’ inaugural “Braves Country Fest” at Truist Park. After ERNEST and Mackenzie performed their sets, Ella took the stage with a handful of her biggest hits, along with a cover of Gretchen Wilson’s “Here for the Party.” When she wrapped up, fans assumed it’d be their last sight of her for the night, but then during Cody Johnson’s end-of-night set, he brought Ella back onstage for a captivating rendition of Reba McEntire’s “Whoever’s in New England.”
As thrilled as the crowd was for each of their individual sets, they were positively elated to see Cody and Ella join together for a surprise duet. “If I ever saw Ella and Cody… I’d DIE,” one TikToker exclaimed on a festivalgoer’s clip from the night. “IT WAS INSANE,” another festivalgoer commented. “They need to put out a duet IMMEDIATELY,” someone else chimed in. “How does she do it?! She sounds good with everybody,” another fan marveled.
Fortunately for fans, both Cody and Ella are currently on tour, so there are sure to be plenty more stellar performances this summer. Whether or not they will surprise fans with another duet, however, remains to be seen.
