• Jelly Roll and Bunnie XO have been married for nearly 10 years.
  • The couple has reportedly filed for divorce.
  • Their last public appearances were filled with loving moments.

If you’ve been wondering why Jelly Roll and Bunnie XO haven’t been spotted together publicly or on social media recently, the reason is finally clear.

On Monday, June 15, news broke via TMZ that Jelly filed for divorce from Bunnie on May 18 because of “irreconcilable differences.” In the divorce petition, Jelly established that their relationship ended on May 9, concluding a nearly 10-year marriage that began on August 30, 2016.

The news comes as a shock to many, as the couple’s appearance at the 2026 Grammy Awards on February 1 seemed to be overflowing with love and respect. Bunnie accompanied Jelly to the awards show, where he won Best Contemporary Country Album and used his acceptance speech to praise God and his wife, claiming that they’re the only reasons he’s not “dead or in jail.”

Throughout the show, they were seen dancing and being outwardly affectionate toward each other. Later on February 26, Jelly showed support for Bunnie during her book tour, when they again poured on the PDA.

In recent months, the couple has been open about their desire to have a baby together and their struggles with infertility. Bunnie is a stepmom to Jelly’s two children, Bailee and Noah.

At the time of publishing, neither Jelly’s nor Bunnie’s representatives have publicly commented on the matter. Fans, however, can’t keep their thoughts to themselves. “Just goes to show that what you see in public ain’t always what’s going on behind closed doors. I hope they both find happiness,” one Instagrammer commented on People’s post about the news. “That's so crazy. All I ever do is talk about how much they love each other and how they're in it for the long haul. Wow,” someone else remarked. “This is so sad. What a sad ending to such a beautiful story,” another fan chimed in.

While many fans are hoping and pleading that this is fake news, TMZ reports that a moving truck was spotted outside Jelly and Bunnie’s Nashville home on Monday night, perpetuating the story that no one saw coming.
