A few Country Living Artisans to visit at RHS Malvern Spring Festival 2026
Hilary Strickland Art
In her delicate watercolours and pencil illustrations, Hilary Strickland captures the beauty of the natural world. Inspired by vast landscapes and intricate details of birds, insects and plants, her work is transformed into stunning home decor, including cushions, lampshades, and framed prints.
She says: "Fresh air, light, and the elements inspire my designs, and my goal is to bring these calming aspects of nature into your home with thoughtfully crafted products."
Charlotte Macey
Bringing nature to life with thread, Charlotte Macey crafts embroidered illustrations and artisan homeware, all from her home studio in the Cotswolds. Her unique designs feature everything from florals to seashells, all captured beautifully.
Her British-made homeware collection ranges from linen cushions, embroidered linen tea towels and kitchen accessories, to co-ordinating stationery and beautiful screen-printed and hand-decorated crockery.
Creative DeZigns
Creative DeZigns works with small family workshops and independent artisans in South Africa and Nepal to create ethical cotton clothing for everyday wear. The focus is straightforward: good fit, honest fabric and pieces that last.
With firm roots in South Africa, the brand supports the communities it partners with through steady employment and fair margins that keep work flowing and skills alive.
Casa Dextiles
Casa Dextiles pairs thoughtful design with skilled textile craft. The range includes table linens, soft furnishings and throws made to be used, washed and loved.
Inspired by the culture of India, beauty sits in the detail. You can see the maker’s hand in every pattern, with an illustrative style that feels warm and human. Plant based fabrics are chosen with care, keeping the focus on quality over quantity.
Memorial Workshop
Named one of our 40 Best Artisans in 2025, Matt Loughlin cuts stone the old way and makes it feel quietly modern. From commemorative pieces and garden markers to carved artworks for the home, every commission is drawn and shaped entirely by hand in Somerset. No shortcuts, no mass production. Just time, skill and lettering designed to weather beautifully and last for generations.
Gabrielle Parker
Gabrielle Parker makes the kind of dresses you reach for without thinking. Designed in Hastings and produced in small, considered runs, the collections lean into slow fashion with a light touch. Think easy silhouettes, vintage inspired prints and natural fabrics that move from wedding guest to picnic rug without a costume change. Comfortable enough for a day at home, polished enough for unexpected company.
