• Country star Lainey Wilson stepped out for a special red carpet appearance.
  • She wore a stunning jumpsuit for the Hannah Montana premiere event.
  • Lainey explains why this was a full-circle moment for her.

Lainey Wilson has long enjoyed the best of both worlds—and we’re not just talking about her keen ability to navigate country stardom while staying true to her Louisiana roots. The 33-year-old singer is a lifelong fan of Hannah Montana, to the extent that she used to dress up and perform as her at the very beginning of her singing career. And this week, the “Can’t Sit Still” singer got to relive it all and soak in all the nostalgia at the Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special world premiere in Los Angeles.

On Monday, March 23, Lainey walked the purple carpet of the premiere looking every bit the superstar in a sheer and shimmery black bell-sleeve backless jumpsuit by Zuhair Murad, styled by Alexandra Mandelkorn. Given the dramatic nature of her show-stopping outfit, Lainey kept her jewelry simple with dangly silver earrings and a face beat that deserves its own award. Makeup artist Afton Williams perfected her dewy complexion, subtle smoky eye, and picture-perfect nude lip, while hair stylist Gabi Lopez crafted her sweeping updo. To say that Lainey looked drop-dead gorgeous at the premiere is an understatement—and fans agree.

“Unreal, you’re stunning,” one fan commented on her carousel of photos showcasing her look. “The female Elvis—so iconic,” another fan exclaimed. “We see you in a hat all the time, so seeing you without one is refreshingly stunning, too,” someone else wrote.

This isn’t the first time Lainey has stepped out in support of Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus. Back in August 2024, she honored Miley during her Disney Legend induction ceremony. During the night, Lainey revealed that she credits Miley and her role as Hannah Montana for inspiring her to believe in herself and chase after her own dreams.

"You might not know this, but I am truly one of your biggest fans,” she said during her speech. “I’m talking about at birthday parties, fairs, festivals, you name it—it was me, Lainey Wilson, opening up for me as Hannah Montana. You talk about the best of both worlds. You inspired me to believe in myself that I, too, could be an ordinary girl living in an extraordinary world.”
